Before you spread your wings to fly,
Pray pause a while to say goodbye.
Forget us not your humble friends
Whose warmest wishes,this poems sends.
Life's plateau spread before your eyes,
Holds rocky paths,and hidden sighs.
Its flowers and crystal streams sublime,
Enrich your cup with golden wine.
The sun dark clouds will sometimes hide,
Their tears to wash the plateau wide.
Its silver lining shining through,
Brings happiness and hope anew.
So fly away my pretty dear
And hide once more that foolish tear,
Drink deep and oft,of memory's cask,
Remembering 'tis all we ask.
Pray pause a while to say goodbye.
Forget us not your humble friends
Whose warmest wishes,this poems sends.
Life's plateau spread before your eyes,
Holds rocky paths,and hidden sighs.
Its flowers and crystal streams sublime,
Enrich your cup with golden wine.
The sun dark clouds will sometimes hide,
Their tears to wash the plateau wide.
Its silver lining shining through,
Brings happiness and hope anew.
So fly away my pretty dear
And hide once more that foolish tear,
Drink deep and oft,of memory's cask,
Remembering 'tis all we ask.
